Roadtrip Daydream

Small town asphalt rising, tacking fast feet. Road outrunning familiar outskirt. Driver side backseat silent. Eyes dragging fallen branches, sorghum silos wilting, blue blanket spewing cotton. Finger plying cool stoneware throat throwing rings. Slippery thoughts touching future lives, love ways, limbs, painting, lounging imagined lawn, unwound dirt, body scenes, night places, yawn leaps, longhair outfits bare chest. Seatbelt vibrating through baby teeth crying awake 80k/hr. Gravel rest fruit, plump green loo frogs, see—tyre & plank—saw, searing midday slide, prickle spiral, sneaky honey glazed knee graze. Retie trailing tarpaulin, resume. Rubbernecking towering besser block cylinder. Minimalist roadside structure proliferating pee possibilities. Sticky skin pouring internal halfpipe/rainbow jug connecting slippery thoughts future lifespans.
