Visual Story:

Planning Your Visit to Outer Space

A step-by-step visual and written guide for visitors to Outer Space

A Visual Story is a visual & written accessible guide to assist you with your visit.

Visual stories are used to prepare a person for and increase the predictability of a new environment or situation. This helps bring familiarity to a process and to reduce anxiety and stress.

This guide provides information on how to access the Outer Space gallery and office, what to expect when you arrive and who to ask for assistance.

How to get to Outer Space

Outer Space is located at the front of the Judith Wright Arts Centre, 420 Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley.

There are two entrances to the Outer Space gallery.

One entrance is located on Brunswick St, towards the corner of Brunswick St and Berwick St and enters directly into the gallery. This entrance has a small set of steps with handrails and is not wheelchair accessible.
